Tusculum College is a coeducational private college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), with the main campus located in Tusculum, which is a city in Greene County, in the US state of Tennessee, with a small population of little over 2000 inhabitants, estimated during the 2000 census.
Tusculum College was established in 1794 and it is the 23rd oldest operating college in USA. In addition to the main campus, it also has a regional center for Graduate and Professional Studies in Knoxville, and additional satellite campuses across East Tennessee.
The college currently offers majors and minors, in various areas of study, including teacher licensure programs and additional non-degree-conferring courses in Geography, Music, Physics, Sociology, Spanish, and Theater.
Tusculum's athletic teams are known as the Pioneers, which compete in 14 sports, for both men and women, in NCAA Division II, in South Atlantic Conference. Their distinctive colors are orange and black.
